Give your brand a luxurious lift with some hand printed business stationery. Business cards, complement slips and notecards are all gorgeously well suited to the textural loveliness of letterpress; this half day session will show you the ropes of the printing process, and let you get hands on with your own printed paper goods.

This workshop is perfect for creatives and small business owners, who want to stand out from the crowd and have that luxury, hand-made feel in all parts of their life or work.

“Amazing, creative, immersive experience that made by business stationery come to life.

I felt Grania understood me and my business, made amazing suggestions as to the creative aspect of the stationery we created. I now have a collection of stationery for my business that I can use with confidence that speaks to my clients and really represents me and what my business is about.

The session was mindful, relaxing and such such. I would strongly recommend to anyone wanting to create stationery that is beautifully unique and personal. I get so many compliments on the stationery!!”

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Before the workshop, we’ll have a couple of consultations on email and on Zoom to guide your design and make sure it will be at its best for letterpress

  • I’ll then adapt your finished digital design into a photopolymer printing plate

  • On the day of your workshop, come along to my garden studio for plentiful tea and biscuits, a crash course in the history and technique of letterpress, and the chance to printing your single sided design, in one or two ink colours. (Or you can opt for a split fountain – the art of blending several ink colours across the press at once – we can discuss colour options during your design consultations)

  • You’ll receive up to 150 items, including 350gsm 100% cotton 55x88mm business cards, A6 notecards or round coasters. The cardstock we’ll use is soft enough to take a crisp impression, firm enough to make a tactile and visual impact. It’s impossible not to want to stroke it!

THE GORGEOUS SMALL PRINT

  • Please only book if you have a finished business card or notecard design ready to go. I will feed back on any changes you need to make in order to make it work well with letterpress.

  • If you are after something a little different - more than 150 items, additional items (e.g. envelopes, folded cards), more ink colours etc, or if you need a helping hand with the design of your business stationery, pop me a note in the “additional comments” section of the enquiry form and I can tailor a workshop specifically to your needs.

  • To make an enquiry, just click the button above and we can arrange a time and date that suits you. Remember, we will need to allow a couple of weeks ahead of the studio session to fine-tune your design and ensure it is suitable for letterpress printing.

  • These sessions are non-refundable, however I know that life sometimes gets in the way so will do all I can to accommodate a new date should your plans need to change.
