Real Wedding: Hollie & Luke

I always adore a Cotswolds wedding, and you know that a barn wedding is going to bring all the fun! Hollie & Luke’s stunning day at Gloucestershire’s Cripps Barn was absolutely no exception.

The Brief

Hollie had fallen in love with my Melbourne Collection Suite and opted for both the Save The Dates and Invitation with details card to send to their guests. The Melbourne is exceptionally tactile with its illustrated eucalyptus leaves - perfect for a sophisticated yet outdoorsy country wedding!

The Stationery

The Venue

Cripps Barn is an 18th century Cotswold barn, set in the heart of the countryside near Bibury in the beautiful Coln Valley. With its flagstone floors, rustic beams and roaring open fireplace, this beautiful historic building is the perfect place for laid back celebrations.

The Details

Hollie had struggled to find a dress she liked, so I recommended that she get in touch with my good friend Sally Bean - they hit it off right away and wore the most divine dress made just for her from layer upon layer of exquisite tulle. It was christened the Hollie Hummingbird. She kept the accessories minimal, with a simple cathedral-length veil from The Wedding Veil Shop and earrings from Latelia.

To complement the barn setting, the florals were foliage-heavy, with plenty of eucalyptus and gorgeous spray roses. The cake was by Fenn & Berry Cakes, and Hollie and Luke’s day was captured perfectly by Tom Durn.
