Letterpress Workshops

It often amazes me how few of us letterpress printers there are left these days – we’re a small but very passionate bunch. This is a craft with so much history: it’s a process that fires up your brain as well as your heart, and lets you get physically involved in the process of making as well as designing your beautiful finished products.

It’s very easy to get hooked, so I’m delighted to welcome you to my west London studio, and to offer a range of one-to-one and couples’ letterpress workshops that will give you a hands-on printing experience, and some stunning paper goods of your own design to take away with you.  

Letterpress for Beginners

Designed for those dipping their toe in the world of letterpress printing for the first time, this half-day session gives you the chance to learn the ropes of this traditional, artisanal craft. Over the course of three hours, I’ll show you how to typeset, and you’ll go home with some gorgeous hand printed stationery of your choosing and design.

Print Your Own Wedding Stationery

Put your own stamp on the letterpress stationery you’ll be sending to your loved ones – quite literally! Designed with creative couples in mind, I’ll guide you through the layout and design process (prior to the workshop), before inviting you to my studio to print your own design on my beautiful 1950s Vicobold press.

Print Your Own Paper Goods

This workshop is for stationery addicts and small business owners who want to stand out from the crowd. Spend a half-day one to one with me at the Ink & Paper studio, and print your own notecards or business cards on a vintage printing press.
